Amla is a girl who lives in Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh, with her brother who runs a dairy. She is engaged to marry Dev in a month's time and dreams of getting away from her nagging sister-in-law who hates her. Abeer is a well-mannered hard working young man who lives with his aunt Karuna who is a healer of herbal medicine.

The big event of the season is the engagement of the area's richest and most influential businessmen, Rishaan Mallik’s son Suveer, to the politician Manvendra Thakur’s daughter Maahi. Abeer meets up with his old friends Suveer, Viraj, Evaan and after the engagement party, all four of them go on a drinking and drug binge to celebrate. Meanwhile, Amla is on her way to see Dev off, accidentally comes across them. Suveer, Viraj, and Evaan gang rape her. Abeer passes out with no recollection of what has happened.

A traumatized Amla is discovered the next morning by Karuna, while she is picking herbs. Dev thinks that Amla has brought shame on him and breaks off the engagement. As the town go into an uproar over the rape incident, Abeer accepts the blame and agrees to marry Amla. He mistakenly believes himself to be guilty and he also wants to protect his rich friends. As a result, the families of Amla and Abeer sell their properties and move to another city to start a new life. But things become complicated due to the scheming of the Mallik family and their unscrupulous lawyer. They all want to protect themselves.

Abeer falls in love with Amla and tries to help her, but she treats him badly because of all that has happened. Slowly she also realizes that she has feelings for him. Abeer wants to put everything right and the three rapists try to escape their destiny, but each one of them will have some hard times with devastating setbacks in their careers and family lives.
