Oooo, need to wrap a thousand gifts now
Cant keep up with all the latest wrapping tricks now
This Gingerbread house is going stale
Oooo, this fruit cake is like a brick now
Its been passed around since 1986 now
Probably gained 10 pounds and 5 more still

Got an ugly sweater party
I can t find a babysitter, sending/writing one more Santa letter
Kids eating too many treats.
Im not a Scrooge its just how I feel

Oooo, can you just pick out a gift now
this game’s been going on since 1966 now
Stockings hung on the sill that I have to fill
Oooo, trying to get this tree lit now
But I cant seem to find the strand that needs fixed now
There’s so much to do this time of year.

I just want to find some peace
The spirit of the Christmas Season
Need to find a way to release
Stop stressing over everything
But I cant wait until it all comes down
So listen to my little tip
Making a sign to hang over my decked halls
