Our Rich Journey - We Retired Early in Portugal | SEE OUR MINIMALIST HOME: Almost one month ago, our family of four reached financial independence, retired early, and moved to Lisbon, Portugal. We sold practically everything we owned and flew from San Francisco to Lisbon, Portugal with only four suitcases - one for each of us! When we moved into our apartment in Lisbon, it was completely unfurnished. We knew that we wanted to furnish our apartment with a simple modern design based on minimalism. Basically, we designed our home with the idea that less is more. We wanted to maintain a clutter-free home with furniture that was intentionally placed and served a purpose. To date, we've been living in our home in Lisbon for about three weeks and it took us a full three weeks to completely furnish the place. But now, we can definitively say that our place is not just a house/apartment - it's a home! :) So please - take a look inside our minimalist home in Lisbon, Portugal!
