2021 Commencal Meta AM HT ride review

Ah that fresh new bike smell! It is finally time for a full ride review of my new 2021 Commencal Meta AM hardtail, and what a bike this is! I brought it with me on a recent trip to the southern coast of Portugal, to put it through the wringer and see how it performs. Coming from years of riding full sus bikes, I had no real e pet actions from a hardtail, but this bike made me fall in love with the simplicity and the direct response that you can only get with no rear suspension.

Praia da Luz in the Portuguese province of Algarve offers some amazing trails. There's a mix of freeride lines along the cliffs, xc riding along the coast and a short drive away at Monchique, there's some epic enduro and downhill to be had.
