???? BIOGRAPHY:

Lola Dada-Olley sits at the intersection of law, accessibility, and technology. She currently works at a global banking institution where she leads on digital accessibility related matters. Her duties include negotiating technology agreements that involve the procurement of consumer-facing digital content. She also advises product teams on the Americans with Disabilities Act, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and its applicability to the design, development and maintenance of various technology tools.

Prior to her current role, Lola spent most of her legal career in state and local government. She most recently served as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Plano, Texas, where she served as the Lead Counsel to the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Security Officer on data and technology matters. While practicing in Illinois state government, she was a Deputy General Counsel at the Workers’ Compensation Commission, Assistant General Counsel in the Governor’s Office and an Assistant Attorney General in the Attorney General’s Office working on matters ranging in diversity from data to employment related matters.

Lola is a member of the NewRoundtable, an organization comprised of in-house and outside counsel women attorneys devoted to greater inclusion in the legal profession. Lola is also a TEDx and keynote speaker who often speaks on matters relating to hope, self-care and disability inclusion.

Lola has a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from Eastern Illinois University, a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University and a law degree from Howard University School of Law. She lives in North Texas with her husband, two children and an entitled Portuguese water dog. In her spare time, Lola enjoys writing, podcasting, and sleeping like a baby whenever possible.
