Day 1 of Plein-Airpril - landscape painting with gouache.

I decided to participate in a challenge hosted by the group of wonderful artists called @warriorpainters. For the next 30 days I will be painting landscapes and seascapes using my digital plein air studies that I have wanted to turn into paintings. I am not sure if I will be able to record the progress of each one of the thirty paintings, but I will try.

This is the demo of the painting that I posted on Instagram yesterday (my insta ID is lenarivo). It’s a street scene of the wonderful Portuguese village Sesimbra. I painted it from a digital sketch that I had done on location a couple years ago.
Tomorrow, I will publish the demo of the painting that I painted today ;)
