Montalegre FIM SuperMoto World Cup THOMAS CHAREYRE TAKES HIS SEVENTH WORLD TITLE IN MONTALEGRE PORTUGAL
Montalegre, (Portugal) 21 July 2019 – In great weather, the chase for the FIM S1 Supermoto WorldCup at the Circuito Internacional de Montalegre. The organisation prepared the track to its best again to ensure the conditions on the fast short track where perfect for the riders. With the sun out the spectators again found their way to the racetrack early today to enjoy the action and to see who would take the FIM WorldCup titlE. After three great races full of action and tension it was TM Factory Racing rider Thomas Chareyre who took his seventh World title. The S1 Junior World Cup went to Phoenix Racing rider Nicolas Cousin.
O Circuito Internacional de Montalegre estreou-se, este fim de semana, entre a elite mundial do Supermoto. A pista barrosã afirmou-se como um palco de eleição para a Taça do Mundo FIM, que teve um pelotão de 25 pilotos internacionais. Francês Thomas Chareyre bateu o alemão Markus Class e conquistou o seu sétimo título mundial.
Thomas Chareyre, campeão do Mundo de Supermoto 2019, mostrou-se muito satisfeito: “É uma sensação incrível ser campeão do Mundo depois de todo o trabalho que fizemos. Os pilotos não conheciam a pista de Montalegre, mas este circuito mostrou ter todas as condições para estar ao mais alto nível no Supermoto. Obrigado a todos pelo trabalho e pelo apoio.”
