Girls seek refuge in schools to avoid FGM in Kajiado

As schools closed for the December break, a number of students in parts of Kajiado opted to remain at the institutions over the long holiday. The girls who were escaping female genital mutilation sought refuge in school for fear of being married off upon their return.
