"Just shoot me!" Lovelorn knife-wielding teen's Phuket police station rampage

A lovelorn teen freaked out in Phuket Town and rampaged through Phuket City police station brandishing a knife as he chased after the girl who had rejected him.

The girl – a fellow student at Phuket Wittayalai School – entered the nearby police station after she spotted the young man following her down the round with the two-inch knife in his hand.

Unfortunately even the police station was no deterrent for the unhinged teen and, if anything, further raised his ire. The girl fled and the boy charged around the station begging – according to local reports – that officers on the scene shoot him so he would no longer suffer from a broken heart.

Officers attempted to calm the boy and keep him from harming himself until his parents could arrive. It took a further twenty minutes for his folks to convince him to put down the knife.

No charges have been filed against the heart-broken teen yet, who is now safely admitted to Wachira Hospital's psychiatric unit.
