You don’t need to be an experienced kayaker as you’re given instructions on how to use the boats properly. Along the way your guide tells you all about the beaches, caves, and rock formations that you paddle past. This is a fun way to experience Portugal’s natural beauty while being active.

Ponta da Piedade is possibly one of the most beautiful natural scenery of the Algarve coast, but the coast is formed by dense corroded cliffs, which have been carved in rocky pillars, natural tunnels and hidden caves, and because of that, the irregularly deformed sandstone cliffs stand in stark contrast to the peaceful turquoise and green deep waters, and the whole region is simply breathtaking.

To observe the cliffs from the sea, the visitors can be part of our organized excursions, for this, we have Kayaks that navigate the labyrinth of these unique formations. We can see the lighthouse, it’s situated prominently on the promontory of Ponta da Piedade, this traditional lighthouse, which has been watching international expeditions from the dangerous rocks since its construction.

Ponta da Piedade is an excellent 2 and a half -3 hours excursion, starting at Praia da Batata, exploring the cliffs, and because of that, is a magnificent and unforgettable experience.
