(24 Jun 2017) India Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Portuguese counterpart Antonio Costa visited Radha Krishna temple in Lisbon on Saturday.
Modi stopped over in Portugal before travelling to the US where he will hold talks with President Donald Trump. It was the first bilateral visit ever conducted by an India Prime Minister to Portugal.
Modi was welcomed by dozens of supporters outside the temple.
Among them was 35-year-old Sateesh Potti, an Indian national living in Portugal, who was very pleased to see Modi "up close" and be able to shake hands with him.
