[online talk] her(e) otherwise

As part of the Women Focus of Saison Africa2020, the collective saay/yaas conceptualized and created her(e) otherwise, commissioned by arc en rêve centre d’architecture.
Three African co-curators develop an online platform (hereotherwise.space) as community for knowledge and value production through intimate encounters and exchanges.

her(e), otherwise calls women architects from Africa/diaspora to question/measure the language/representations and artefacts generated by the processes, institutions, myths and rituals which serve the production of architecture, activated by an interrogation of the brief. A set of acts, each structured as call-and-response, invites successive responders to interrogate and jointly construct the architectural brief in a public act of knowledge production.

For the launch of the platform hereotherwise, an online talk was organized on the 24th September, 5:30pm - a discussion between the curators :
