Mariana was born and raised in a devout Christian family in Portugal. From a young age, she was involved in various church activities and passionately devoted herself to spreading the teachings of Christ. Her dedication was not limited to her own community. Mariana felt called to bring the Gospel to the entire world, including to Muslim communities, which she viewed as the most challenging spiritual battlefield. Mariana believed that Islam was a threat to the truth of the Gospel, and she was determined to save as many souls as possible from the influence of what she considered a false religion.
