Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has announced the state has recorded one new local COVID-19 case overnight.
Health officials confirmed on Sunday a female flight crew member tested positive after serving 14 days in hotel quarantine.
They also said the woman only spent a short time in the community and it’s believed she may have the Delta variant after being in contact with a positive traveller.
The woman visited DFO at Brisbane Airport from 4-4.30pm and the Brisbane Portuguese Family Centre at Ellen Grove from 7-7.50pm on Saturday.
Anyone who visited these venues has been told to isolate immediately and contact Queensland Health for further instructions.
People who have visited the city have also been being told to monitor for symptoms after the woman also spent time in Brisbane's CBD.
