Shs. 280 million in cash and pledges towards the construction of a science laboratory for North Ankole Girls school has been collected. The fundraising outcome surpassed the initial target of 203 million shillings for the project which will be commissioned early next year. Bishop Steven Namanya of North Ankole Diocese lauded the Christians for supporting the construction of the seed girls’ secondary school hopeful that it will provide meaningful education. The first lady Janet Museveni and foreign affairs minister Sam Kutesa together contributed more than 50 million shillings
