Two brave Yazidi girls urge everyone to help #BringOurGirlsBack

“I would like to request you to help me because I feel that we are all sitting here and there are so many Yazidi girls being raped right now at this moment,” shares Sara, a survivor from the Yazidi community in Iraq.


Parveen, another Yazidi girl and ISIS victim, shares, “Even today, 3,500 of us are missing!”


Sara and Parveen are just two of the thousands of Yazidis whose homes in the Sinjar mountains came under the wrath of ISIS. While all their men were killed, these Yazidi women were forced into sex slavery, with the fate of most of them being unknown.


These two brave survivors spoke at the International Women's Conference. The audience, which  represented 60 countries, pledged to help them #BringOurGirlsBack and give them a chance to lead a dignified life.
