Mid century Portuguese green tourmaline and diamond ring in 18ct white gold; this would make a wonderful engagement ring for the girl who likes to stand out from the crowd with something different. It is set with a mid to light green step cut tourmaline weighing 3.12ct, surrounded by 14 8-cut diamonds which are mounted on claws above a basket setting and weighing 0.42ct. The mount is fixed to a triple banded shank into which a marquise diamond weighing 0.09ct is set on each side. Total diamond weight: 0.70ct. Measurements of the head: 15mm x 13.5mm x height from hand 10mm. Weight: 5.9gm. This pretty ring was handmade in Portugal in the 1950s and is hallmarked Porto 18ct gold.
