World's Longest Pedestrian Suspension Bridge 2021 (Portugal Vlog) is a fascinating video from my recent Portugal Travel Vlog 2021 series. While exploring the far north of Portugal, I have walked a long way to reach the '516 Arouca bridge' - the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world, situated within Arouca, in the Aveiro district of Portugal. You might not know this yet. But the 516 Arouca bridge or the Ponte 516 / Ponte Suspensa 516 (in Portugees) is a very new bridge that opened in April 2021 in Arouca Aveiro Portugal. With a length of 516 m (hence its name) and a suspension of 175 m above the Paiva river, the impressive bridge has surpassed the former record-holder, 494 m Charles Kuonen bridge in the Swiss Alps.
